What Customers Say About Sapphire Radeon HD3650 512MB DDR2 Dual DVI / TVO PCI-Express Graphics Card:

The control center is great for adjusting the contrast and brightness controls for my installed TV tuner. Then after the reboot, go back into the search field but this time type "task scheduler." In the task scheduler:-create a new task -in the general tab label it something like CCC-check the box "run with highest privileges" -on the trigger tab begin the task "at log on" -in the actions tab choose "start a program" -then browse for the program "CCC start" that was installed most likely in (C:\program files\ATI technologies\core static\CCC start) and select it.After you find the file, OK out of the task scheduler and reboot. This really is a great card for the cost. I am currently using Windows Vista 32 Bit. Then OK the changes and restart your computer. I opened the Catalyst Control Center software that installed with the driver and went to the ATI overdrive feature. After rebooting my computer I ran the windows rating again where it was pushed to a 5.0I ran a video stress test with Counter Strike Source and got 88 fps at 1920x1200 through a 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitor.

If this happens, go to the search area on the start menu and type: "msconfig." Open up the start up tab and un-check the box labeled "CCC". I did however run into an issue where Vista's User Protection kept blocking the Catalyst Control Center.

After the install was complete, I updated my windows rating and it increased to 4.8. Overall, I am very happy with this card.

I did some research, and $50 for a video card with 120 stream processors is pretty good. The surface mounted fan is pretty quiet and I didn't have to upgrade my 305 Watt power supply.

Now the task scheduler should run the CCC with its highest privilege so the User Account Control will not block it. Previously, my windows rating was a 4.3 due to my old video card.I installed this video card, rebooted my computer, uninstalled my old video driver and went online to get the latest driver/video card software for this card (didn't bother using the included disc).

I ran the auto tune feature.

No wonder it is at such a low price. I have an HP Pavilion a1767c running Windows XP Pro and this card regularly crashes. I like ATI and have had several, both now and in the past, so I will probably replace this one after some research with a better one.I would not recommend this product. I googled the card and discovered - too late - that I am not the only one experiencing difficulties with this graphics adapter. There seems to be a problem with the Catalyst feature. It is very irritating to be in the middle of a game and have the error message pop up telling me there is a problem with the display refresh or whatever.

I bought it because I have 2 monitors and I wanted to connect both with DVI cables.Markey It booted up with the supplied driver, works great on Vista and Windows 7 os, I reccomend it for everyone. This is a very good card, No jerkiness at all when fast scrolling or gaming. I was reluctant to buy anything but a nvidia based card, which I have used for many years, but this one is well built and very sturdy.

But after about 12 minutes, it froze. I just bought a new ultra-fast quad core system that came with a Radeon 3450 card. So I purchased a Sapphire Radeon HD3650 512MB card through Amazon as the upgrade. I've always been a fan of nVidia cards, so I've decided to stick to nVidia this time and upgrade to a GeForce 9800.

Simply put: THIS CARD IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH TO PLAY COD 5. Now I'll have to spend more money to buy a better video card. I even updated the drivers from the Radeon website with no improvement. I've used the card over several days always with the same result.

thanks Amazon. This repeated several more times until it would not unfreeze and I had to hard boot. I did some research on that card and the general consensus was "not recommended for gaming." I was planning on playing CoD 5 right out of the box, so I knew an immediate upgrade was in store. I waited and it unfroze and I continued playing for another 6 minutes and it froze again.

Well, it seemed just fine with CoD 5 at the start. I got it quicker than expected. This card came with little instruction, but I was able to install it on my own.

This card worked ok for about a month. If you card dies after the amazon warranty period, you have to deal with the company directly. Event log on the OS and bios didn't indicate anything. Now the computer is fine.

I had to eat $5 to send it to them, but they sent me back a working card. Even though the card has a 2 year warranty, they charge a minimum $15 RMA handling fee, so you're out at least $20 (15 + return shipping) just for them to look at the card. Not worth the hassle. We'll see how this one burns in (so far there has been on seize up). Amazon should stop selling this company's products.4/2/09 Update: Sapphire RMA claims it would void the $15 charge since the card died so quickly. Then the computer started freezing up, crashing, and not restarting.

That's almost half the cost of a new card from amazon and you'll likely get a refurbished model with a 90 day warranty. I would change the number of stars for this product (probably 3) but amazon doesn't allow it. Ended up removing the vid card and plugging the monitor directly into the mobo. This Sapphire card was screwing something up.2/20/09 Update: Beware this company.
